Discord bot
Citadel offers a Discord bot for your guild, with the command relay built in so it can react to events and apply actions.
The shared Citadel bot
Subscribe to the Discord Bot plan (or start a trial) and configure it from Services. Per-guild settings are stored on the service. What it does today:
- Server setup — builds out channels and roles for your community.
- Tickets — support tickets in your guild, mirrored to the dashboard.
- Customer verification — links Discord members to their Citadel purchases so staff can verify buyers in support threads.
- Role rewards — grants and removes Discord roles when players buy perks (see Gift cards, loyalty & Discord rewards).
Server admin from Discord (DayZ)
Once a server is linked, the same bot carries the admin tooling: the live player list, kick and ban straight off a killfeed entry, broadcasts, and automatic fulfilment of store purchases including priority queue and whitelist.
There is no second bot to invite and nothing to self-host. Citadel Overwatch is one shared application across every community on Citadel — see Citadel Overwatch — and it acts on your server through the Server Manager link, so it can only ever do what that link allows.
Previously this was a dedicated per-customer bot for servers on CFTools. Both halves of that are gone: Citadel talks to your server through our own mod, and one shared bot replaced the per-customer ones.
