Store & fulfilment · DayZ

A real store for your server. Live this afternoon.

Players sign in with Steam, buy priority queue, clan tags or skins, and Citadel puts the perk on your server — queued through restarts and read back to prove it landed. Nothing to host. $10 a month, plus 5% of what you sell.

Your Stripe account · you are the merchant of record · we never hold your balance

// two ways to sell

Let us host the shop, or keep the one you have.

Both end at the same place: a grant on your server that somebody has checked actually applied.

Hosted store

New

$10 / mo + 5% per sale

A themed storefront at its own link, with Steam sign-in, purchase history, a live servers page and your perks. You connect Stripe and add products; there is nothing to host, deploy or maintain. It costs you nothing until it has made you something.

Open your store

Bring your own store

$15 / mo · no cut of your sales

Already on Tebex, PayNow or your own checkout? Keep it. Point it at one signed webhook and Citadel does the granting behind it — same durable queue, same read-back. No per-transaction fee, and Citadel never touches your money.

// the hosted store

Not a payment link with a logo on it.

Themed to your community

Six palettes whose backgrounds genuinely differ, then your own accent colour, logo, banner image, tagline, header links and Discord button. It reads as your store, not a Citadel page with your name at the top.

Players sign in with Steam

No account to make, no Steam64 to type. Signing in is what fixes the oldest failure in DayZ perk sales: one mistyped digit sends a stranger the thing your player paid for, and nobody can undo it.

Purchase history

Every player gets a page showing what they bought and whether it landed. Most support tickets about a store are just this question, asked in a Discord channel at 2am.

A live servers page

Opt a server in and the store shows it: name, map, who is on right now. The page people share is the page that sells, and an empty-looking server sells nothing.

Built to be seen

Every page is rendered on the server with no JavaScript at all, so Google indexes it and Discord unfurls it with a real title, description and image. Storefronts built as single-page apps are blank to both.

Your Stripe, your money

Payments go through Stripe Connect straight into your own account, and you are the merchant of record. Citadel takes 5% of each sale and never holds your balance or pays it out to you.

// what you can sell

Perks that are safe to put a price on.

Priority queue

Skip the queue on a full server. Days or permanent. The perk players actually pay for.

Whitelist access

Closed servers, paid access tiers, event slots.

Chat prefixes

A [VIP] tag in chat, granted by putting the player in one of your LBmaster prefix groups.

Coloured clan tags

An allowance of tag recolours, with the count that actually sticks rather than the one the mod silently defaults to zero.

Skin permissions

Weapon and clothing skins, by adding the player to a skin permission group on your server.

Not gear, ammunition or building supplies. Bohemia’s monetisation rules prohibit selling anything that affects gameplay balance, and a store that breaks them puts your server at risk rather than ours. Citadel ships cosmetic and convenience perks only, and the examples in the dashboard are written to keep you inside the rules.

// how it works

From checkout to in-game, with nobody on shift.

01

Open the store

Pick a theme, connect Stripe, add your perks. Your store is live at its own link on ops.citadel-hub.com, with nothing to host and nothing to deploy.

02

A player signs in and buys

They sign in with Steam, so the grant is bound to the account that paid for it. Stripe takes the payment into your account, not ours.

03

Citadel queues the grant

If the server is mid-restart, the grant waits and delivers on the next poll. DayZ servers restart several times a day — that is the normal case here, not an edge case.

04

And reads it back

Citadel writes the perk, asks the mod what it actually stored, and compares. Delivered and applied are not the same thing, and only one of them is worth selling.

Delivered is not applied

This is the failure that costs you money quietly. An allowance field was once named count instead of remainingCount, and every grant registered the player with zero uses while reporting fine. Every signal said the perk worked. The player had nothing.

So a perk reaches your store only after it has been written to a real server and read back with its value intact. Perks that have not passed that are not offered for sale at all — which is why the catalogue is shorter than it could be, and why what is on it works.

// faq

Fair questions.

What does the hosted store cost?
$10 a month, plus 5% of each sale. The monthly covers hosting the shop and keeping delivery running whether or not anyone buys that week; the percentage means we do better when you do. Stripe's own processing fee is separate and comes out of your account the way it would on any other store. Compared against running your own checkout, the 5% replaces the storefront you would otherwise be paying for and building.
Who holds the money?
You do. Payments run through Stripe Connect as direct charges into your own Stripe account, and you are the merchant of record. Citadel never holds your balance and never pays it out to you — the 5% is taken at the moment of the sale and the rest is simply yours.
I already have a store on Tebex or PayNow. Do I have to move?
No. Keep it, and use the fulfilment webhook instead: your checkout posts one signed request and Citadel does the granting. That path is $15 a month with no cut of your sales and no involvement in your money. The hosted store is there for communities who do not want to run a checkout at all.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet, and nor is a dedicated subdomain — every store today is served at its own link on the console. Custom addresses are on the list, but they are not built, and we would rather say so than let you plan around them.
What happens if my server is offline when someone buys?
The grant goes on a durable queue and delivers when the server reconnects, then reports what actually happened. Most relays hold grants in memory, so a purchase landing during a restart simply evaporates and a paying player gets nothing.
Can one order ever be granted twice?
No. Every purchase carries its own delivery key, so a retry after an ambiguous failure finds the grant that already exists rather than queueing a second one. On the webhook path you get the same protection by sending your order id as dedupeKey.
How do I know a perk actually applied?
Because Citadel reads it back. LBmaster's mod will answer 200 to a grant whose field names it did not recognise — it drops what it does not know, stores the rest, and reports success while the player has nothing. So a perk is only offered for sale once it has been written to a real server and read back with the value intact.
What am I allowed to sell?
Cosmetic and convenience perks: priority queue, whitelist access, chat prefixes, clan tag colours, skin permissions. Not gear, ammunition or building supplies — Bohemia's monetisation rules prohibit selling anything that affects gameplay balance, and a store that breaks them puts your server at risk, not ours.

Your players already pay for perks.

Give them somewhere decent to do it, and proof that every grant actually landed. $10 a month, and 5% that only costs you when it earns you.
